Application
Tarnished hulls:
• Apply a layer of MARINE POLYTROL® to saturation with a soft brush to clean surface
• Leave to act for 10 to 15 minutes then remove the excess product by wiping it with a cloth
clean lint-free so that it does not form a film on the surface.
• To make the shell shine, gently polish the surface with a sheepskin or cloth.
Revive polished, chrome-plated metals:
• Apply a layer of MARINE POLYTROL® to saturation with a soft brush on the support
own. Leave to act for 10 to 15 minutes.
• Soak an abrasive pad (000 steel wool) with MARINE POLYTROL® then rub gently
support if necessary. Protect any wood underneath. Finish by wiping the support
with a dry cloth so as not to leave any product on the surface.
Eliminate rust pitting on stainless steel, white rust on aluminum:
• Soak 000 steel wool in MARINE POLYTROL® then lightly rub the support (protect
the wood that would be underneath).
• Clean the support with a clean cloth.
• On a clean surface, apply a layer of MARINE POLYTROL® to saturation using a soft brush.
Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes then wipe with a clean cloth.
Do not throw soaked paper or rags into a trash can without first leaving them
dry flat and air dry.
Allow at least 24 hours to elapse before putting into service.
Recommendations before application
Treat small areas at a time to avoid uncontrolled drying of MARINE POLYTROL® and
therefore the formation of a harmful film.
Avoid application to hot surfaces or in direct sunlight.
Work on clean, dry surfaces free of grease and silicone stains.
If cleaning is necessary, use a solvent or a water + detergent mixture on metal.
On plastic, preferably use DECK CLEANER* (NET-TROL®*). Rinse thoroughly then
leave to dry for at least 12 hours.
Hide areas that are not to be treated.
Do a test beforehand.
